Annual membership dues are $95 beginning April 2023.
Here’s the breakdown:

National:   $72*
State:         $10
Local:         $13

Branch membership runs July 1 – June 30.

*All but $3 of the annual national dues are tax deductible.

Who Can Join?

AAUW is open to anyone holding an associate’s (or equivalent, e.g. RN) or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university, or from a foreign institution recognized by the International Federation of University Women.

Student Affiliate Membership is available to those enrolled in an accredited two- or four-year educational institution.

A “new member” is someone entirely new to AAUW or an individual who rejoins after two or more years of lapsed membership.

In principle and in practice, AAUW values and seeks a diverse membership. There shall be no barriers to full participation in this organization on the basis of age, disability, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, geographical location, national origin, race, religious beliefs, sexual orientation or socioeconomic status.
